Last month, I had the great honor of participating in the XX Convención del Profesorado de Yoga IYENGAR®, held in Sabadell and organized by the Asociación Española de Yoga Iyengar.
This twentieth edition of the convention brought together Iyengar yoga teachers from across Spain and beyond. The event focused on the theme of:
Fundamental adjustments and therapeutic observation,
with teaching led by the invited guest teacher Corine Biria.
Guest Teacher: Corine Biria
Corine Biria, a direct disciple of B.K.S. Iyengar, began her yoga journey in 1981 and traveled to Pune in 1983 to study with Guruji. Based in Paris, she is internationally recognized for her work in teacher training and for transmitting the depth and rigor of the Iyengar method to communities around the world.
It was a privilege to witness the care and seriousness with which this convention was held, reflecting the strength and integrity of the Iyengar yoga community.

I am deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to hold a stand at the convention, where I was able to present and sell my products from ananda-hum.com.
This event also marked a first for me: the rental of Iyengar yoga material for a large professional gathering. I provided blankets, yoga straps, wooden blocks, and sticky mats, and I’m very happy to share that the experience went extremely well. It was encouraging to see high-quality, well-chosen props supporting teachers and practitioners throughout the convention.
