In life, there are moments when unexpected collaborations bloom into something truly beautiful. Recently, I witnessed one of these moments when Eli, a photographer known for her creativity and sensitivity, reached out to me on Instagram. Eli's work not only captures images but also emotions, blending gentleness, femininity, and sensitivity into her photos.
Eli approached me with a unique proposal: she wanted to conduct a photo session featuring women at different stages of their womanhood. Her vision included not only capturing stunning images but also facilitating a relaxation and meditation session to deepen the connection to oneself during the shoot.
Eli partnered with Lara from the online shop "Talk Under the Light," providing organic, beautiful underwear. It was an organic collaboration driven by pure feeling and trust in the flow of life.
Despite not being directly involved in the session, I felt compelled to contribute by providing natural cotton yoga rugs and organic yoga bolsters. And I couldn't be happier with the results.
The photos captured during the project are breathtaking, reflecting the essence of each woman involved. But beyond the visuals, the project fostered new connections and moments of pure bliss for everyone involved.
Together, Eli and Lara crafted an experience centered around the themes of self-care, organic living, delicacy, and honesty. They wanted to create a space where women could come together to breathe, to be seen, and to share their stories of mothering—whether it be nurturing a life, a project, or oneself.
Their invitation to a select group of seven women was met with enthusiasm. The day began with a guided meditation, inviting participants to slow down and connect with themselves on a deeper level. They then moved into the photo session, where each woman embraced her authenticity, allowing Eli to capture their essence in a raw and organic manner.As the day came to a close, they gathered to reflect on the concept of mothering and what it meant to each of them. The experience was transformative, leaving them with a deeper appreciation for the power of collaboration, connection, and self-care.
In the end, their project was more than just a photo shoot—it was a celebration of womanhood, of vulnerability, and of the beauty that arises when we come together with open hearts and minds. And for that, I am truly grateful to Eli, Lara, and each woman who joined them on this journey.
