Indulge in this Delicious Yogi Hot Beverage: Masala Latte

A perfect hot beverage to bring warmth and happiness in cold days: masala latte (or spiced milk).

Caffeine free, it is packed with benefits for the body, the main one being improved digestion. I personally love it for the peace and pleasure it brings to my mind :-). It smells gorgeous and tastes delicious. Drinking it takes me on a sensorial journey to India (I know, I am a cheap date)...

Here is a quick recipe for 1 mug of spiced latte (adapt according to your taste):

- warm a mug of plant-based milk (I use oat milk for its natural sweetness)

- add: a small piece of grated ginger, a piece of grated turmeric, 2 peppercorns, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 3 cardamom pods.

Optional: 1 star anise, 3 cloves, organic orange/lemon peel.

- bring to the boil and strain with colander
