Size: 58 × 30 × 18 cm

Firm support you can adjust to your body, in two plant-dyed colours: Ocean, a deep indigo blue, and Soul, a warm orange. Made from organic cotton and filled with organic spelt hulls, this rectangular bolster suits gentle, restorative and prenatal yoga, and helps tension melt away.

What is a rectangular bolster used for?
Its long, stable shape works well for postures lying on your back, forward bends and leg elevations. It supports the back, lower back, hips or knees and leaves room for a freer breath, so you can ease into deep, restorative rest.

At a glance

  • Cover in 100% organic cotton, GOTS certified
  • Organic spelt hull filling of European origin, with adjustable firmness
  • Sewn and dyed by hand in India
  • Plant-based dyes, with no plastic and no chemicals
  • Vegan and cruelty-free, with a metal zip

Choose your colour

  • Ocean: a deep blue made from indigo and nochi leaf, two plants with a long Ayurvedic tradition.
  • Soul: a warm orange made mainly from annatto (rocou), a plant from the Indian Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia.

Each bolster is one of a kind, as the shade varies slightly from one dye bath to the next.

Materials

  • Organic cotton from Tamil Nadu: soft and long-lasting, with a traditional weave that is naturally non-slip.
  • Plant-based dyes: roots, leaves, bark, turmeric, manjistha, indigo, annatto… In the Ayurvedic tradition, these plants are associated with well-being.
  • Organic spelt hulls: dense and stable, they hold their shape under body weight. The inner cushion has a metal zip, so you can take out or add spelt to set the firmness and height you like.

Craftsmanship
The cover is dyed and sewn by hand in India, in artisan workshops that keep traditional skills alive, with a preference for manual work and fair working conditions. The organic spelt filling is done in France.

Care

  • Day to day: air the bolster after each use. If needed, wipe the cover with a slightly damp cloth. Never put a damp cover back on the cushion.
  • Occasional wash: take out the inner cushion. Hand-wash the cover in cold water, soaking for no more than 5 to 10 minutes, with a very mild detergent or soap nuts. Rinse thoroughly. Machine washing is possible with care: very gentle cycle, 30 °C maximum, no regular detergent.
  • Drying: air-dry in the shade. Keep it away from the tumble dryer, radiators and direct sunlight, which damage plant-based dyes.
  • Inner cushion: do not wash it. Air it regularly and keep it away from humidity.

Certification
GOTS-certified cotton (Global Organic Textile Standard): the certification covers the organic cotton used for the cover.
